A terrific F1B reader reminded me that today marks the 42nd anniversary of the death of Jimmy Clark. There has been so much said about the Scottish F1 driver that my words would serve little purpose. Suffice to say that it is situations and times like these that offer a sobering reminder of the danger of the sport.
If words could speak, they’d mean even less so I leave you with the polite reminder that on this date, 42 years ago we lost what I would consider the greatest F1 driver the world has ever known. Thinking of you and your family on this day Mr. Clark.
Found this 13 years on – a simple and appropriate comment on the anniversary of his death. 13 years on I still consider him the best of all time. Thanks for the thought.
