It seems the BBC 5 Live radio crew were at odds with the law at Sao Paulo’s finest. After making a U-turn in front of a police officer, producer Jason Swales apparently ignored the sirens until the police pulled along side their car and pointed their guns at teh BBC crew which included Lee McKenzie sitting in for pregnant Holly Samos.
It seems the police officer who witnessed the U-turn was one of Sao Paulo’s most senior police officers and they escorted the crew to the track and let them go with a warning. Welcome to F1 in Brazil Ms. McKenzie.
