The American organization, AAA, has asked Max Mosley to step down from his post as FIA President.
As a member of AAA, I am proud of this organization for making a stand for the resignation of Max Mosley. Max’s tirade against News of the World and blaming everyone but himself in this ordeal is not the kind of leadership the FIA needs. AAA has taken a position that is in the best interest of the FIA and members. Irrespective of your moral compass on Max’s actions, it is his post-scandal actions that have become more damaging to the members of the FIA than his original lapse of reason.
I applaud all member organizations who have the courage to speak out against this egregious abuse of position and errant judgment on the FIA Presidents part.
