After nearly 6 hours of racing, the #2 Audi of Allan McNish and Dindo Capello has been leading the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta. A scary moment under full-course caution at lap 169 when McNish spun the R15 but taking advantage of the full-course caution; McNish pitted.
The 07 Peugeot of Pedro Lamy follows the sister car 08 of Stephane Sarrazin for the lead. With McNish’s out-of-sequence pit stop, they look good to retake the lead when the Peugeot’s pit.
Guy Smith leads P@ and Jorg Muller leads GT2. At this pace, the race is going to run 9 hours 51 minutes.
