When you have a track record like Audi does at the Petit Le Mans, you have a lot to defend. That doesn’t change this year as Audi has called up the services of Allan McNish for the race. Allan will partner with Dindo to race at Road Atlanta this October.
“Petit has been good for Dindo and I, we have raced three times and won there three times, but I think this year it will be very tough to call whether we can make it four out of four,” said McNish.
No matter how stiff the competition is, you have to recognize that this is a terrific history at this race and Audi, having clinched the Le Mans Series at Silverstone, are looking for nothing short to victory. some of the best racing in America has come from the ALMS series and if you are anywhere near the east coast on October 1-4, you should attend.
