Just on the whole Russell to Mercedes thing. I heard an interesting take on it by Joe Saward. He’s view was that Ocon signing for Alpine for the next three years, was that he didn’t want to risk losing his seat (like he did with Riccardo at Renault) by Bottas coming on the market at the end of the year.
Undoubtedly the best broadcast of the year. A deep understanding by both of you, helping to make the race much more significant and interesting. Why the hell aren’t they putting you on the TV show?
George Russell at MB next year? I cannot see why Hamilton would allow that. It’s not about handling George, it’s about having a No. 2 and winning using the No. 2 for tow and tests and strategy on track. Russell is way too valuable for that role.
