Completely agree with your sentiments on the SUPER ULTRA FORMULA 1 SPRINT WEEKEND SPECTACULAR!!!! It was too much. We watched Quali on Friday and watched the cars run into the walls from lack of setup from the missing practices. Then after watching the Sprint Quali, my dad and I were pretty much done at watching the cars go round and round, and almost started a flow chart to try and figure out the tire rules and such (who was it that ran out of softs for SQ3? F1 is on TV enough without the need for sprint races too. The calendar is already arguably overly long, adding the sprints too to me just dilutes the attraction even more in my opinion. That said for some reason I do like MotoGP and World Superbikes doing sprints and MotoGP hardly has a short calendar, it just seems to fit better and I can’t quite work out why I like that but not F1’s version of basically the same thing.
Well, Disney bought Star Wars and has sucked it dry until there’s nothing left.
Perhaps Liberty should take heed before they devalue F1.
