Former Formula One driver Rubens Barrichello has decided that Indycar is not the thing for him. Who knows all the reasons that Indycar isn’t the series of choice anymore but I submit money has something to do with it.
The Brazilian will return to his home turf to race…are you sitting? Stock cars! Yes, like many other ex-F1 drivers, Rubens will now race the Brazilian V8 Stock Car series:
“After my 20-plus years representing Brazil racing all over the world, it’s time to come home,” Barrichello said. “It will be amazing to race in my home country again, while allowing me to be closer to my family. I have much enthusiasm for what a perfect fit will bring.”
