A more than usual informative podcast… so much to follow.
On the marketing front… Toto may well be right. The state of our nation is colored by the fact that all the major news departments were closed and moved into the marketing departments. When marketing governs your strategy and finance nothing good will result — product excellence is not made by any marketing department, ever.

Worthless Opinion

I get a little confused when the sweary drivers say they want to be treated like adults. I think adults are supposed to have self control and not say Fk all the time in the workplace or in front of kids. It seems like what they mean is they want to be treated like CHILDREN, of whom our expectations for impulse control are much lower. I’m not trying to take a position on the swearing, I just think their argument makes them sound kind of stupid.

Completely agree. It seems everyone uses ‘S***’ and ‘F***’ as common as a comma. I don’t get it personally. It doesn’t sound good and doesn’t make sense. And yea, it’s even becoming commonplace for kids to be swearing up a storm just like good old mom n dad, and they’re not even being corrected anymore. Maybe I am clutching pearls. Languages evolve, just like we don’t use slurs for those of different races, sexual orientations, or intellectual developments. Can’t stop the evolution of language, but I also don’t have to like it.
