It can’t hurt having a two-time world champion willing to help you win the 2008 World Championship and that is exactly what Felipe Massa has. Fernando Alonso has cast his support for Felipe Massa if he is able to help in any way. When asked by Spanish reporters if he would help Massa, Fernando said:
“Yes, absolutely. If I’m able to help Massa I certainly will.”
Fernando is obviously not impressed with British phenom Lewis Hamilton and if Fernando gets a competitive ride, he may just give the youngster a run for his money. As it is, Fernando is out of any title aspirations this year so why not help Lewis’s main competitor? Sounds like a plan that could warm the hearts of Ferrari and stir the rumor mill of a Fernando/Ferrari combination.
