Reuters/Autosport reports that Flavio likes to loose once in a while:
Renault team boss Flavio Briatore says he does not mind his team losing the occasional race as it will help them avoid the boring tag associated with Ferrari’s five-year domination of the sport.
“We’ve won five out of the seven races this season, but you can’t win every time and the important thing is to be competitive,” the Italian told a news conference in Madrid on Monday.
Renault should be so lucky as to have the legacy Ferrari has had over the last five years or is he right? Is the dominance a bore and the label as boring fitting for Ferrari? Sour grapes or true wisdom on how to keep the sport exciting from one of the more “exciting†individuals in the paddock?
