Bottas wins Sprint, Verstappen on pole for Italian GP

Formula 1’s second Sprint race to set pole position for Sunday’s Italian Grand Prix is over and Valtteri Bottas took the top step ahead of Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo.

McLaren, in a fight with Ferrari for third in the constructor’s championship, will start very well with Daniel in second on the grid for Sunday followed by his teammate, Lando Norris, in third. Valtteri will start at the back due to an engine change and his teammate, Lewis Hamilton struggled to to get around the two McLaren’s leaving him to start 4th on Sunday.

It was good to see Daniel Ricciardo back on his game and both McLaren’s so competitive but all is not lost for Ferrari who start not far behind in 6th and 7th for Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz respectively.
