Sebastien Buemi may have been ruled out at Force India for 2013 but he still has a vital role to play in Formula One…well, vital in context of a reserve driver role at Red Bull. If you were going to be a reserve driver, that’s a pretty darned good team to be at. Buemi seems a nice chap and it’s great that he still has his toe in the warm waters of F1. Sebastien said:
“I know everyone at Red Bull Racing well and it’s good to remain with the team for another year. Of course my aim is to be driving at the races again, but I am still learning all the time from my work with the team. I help with the development of the car and provide feedback throughout the season, both at the factory and at races.”
The world is replete with Sebastien Buemi fans and why shouldn’t it be? He’s a good guy with a passion for racing and that fits well with Red Bull…that is until Helmut Marko gets upset then its hell at high noon.
