Ecclestone adds black eye to ad campaign

In an uncharacteristic move for the billionaire head of F1, but not at all surprising, Bernie Ecclestone posed for a shock ad campaign by Swiss watch maker Hublot. It seems the opportunity was too good for the watch company to pass up. AUTOSPORT has the story.

Asking “See what people will do for a Hublot.”, is the ads tagline and it seems that some people will do a lot. Why not? The watches are tens of thousands of dollars and they have the only official F1 watch in their line.

On the other side, I suspect the thieves were looking for more than just a watch and they got is when they lifted nearly $250,000 of jewelry from Ecclestone and girlfriend Ms. Flossi.
