[dropcap]O[/dropcap]r so said Aristotle. I would venture to guess he wouldn’t have gone to all the trouble to change his website as he really didn’t need a site to convey a message. The old axiom is that everyone is out to change the world and rarely does people think to change themselves. Obviously that isn’t F1B, we change as fast as a Mercedes GP pit crew changes Nico’s tires.
While we’ve changed the site for a few reasons that are mostly internal, we also understand that the community of F1B is the most important thing. If this new layout is untenable for our readers, then yes I can change it back to the old layout but we might give this a chance as it is a hybrid between the last layout and the one before it. I would have to have had more columns but that gets into odd re-sizing of the browser and that has caused some difficulties for different browsers and resolutions readers were using. The idea here is to get F1B on your phone, computer an tablet. We hope we’ve achieved that to your satisfaction.
As always, feel free to send us your feedback. Like all sites, we are limited on the crazy things we can do but hopefully this will increase readership, engagement, time -on-site and other metrics that let us know you are a vibrant, wonderful community of people who make F1B what it truly is…the Journal of F1 Opinion.
