FBC Staff Picks: Belgian GP results

It was always going to be one or the other and those FBC Staffers that went with Hamilton for the win in Belgium chose the right one. Championship points leader Paul not only correctly chose the winner, but also also picked up an additional six points for Vettel in second AND an additional two for Wehrlein as First Out. He really does seem to have the magic touch this year. Along with Grace, second place staffer Tony failed to score this weekend, which allowed Paul to once again widen that lead. Dave, back in third, picked up thirteen points via LewHam and Ricciardo in third and closed the gap to Tony.

Todd moved up a couple of spots and is now in a tie with Dave, having picked up the top two finishers as well ad Raikkonen in fourth. Those eighteen points made The FBC big boss man this week’s top scorer. Tom swapped spots with Todd, falling from third to fifth, though he did pick up three points for the Kimster in fourth. Andrew also picked up nine points for Hamilton, moving him ever closer to that mid pack group. J.P. managed to score for a second straight week with five points for Kimi and Bottas in fifth. Now we’ll only have a few day’s wait for Monza to see who gets the next big points hauls.

What are the points assigned per position as well as 1st out?

It’s the old 9 – 6 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1 scoring system, with a single point for first out.

Stuck between Andy and Grace with 70 points.
