Ferrari fate on September 8

According to AUTOSPORT, the FIA has set September 8, 2010 for the World Motor Sport Council hearing to possibly render further judgment on Ferrari for their actions during the German Grand Prix.

According to Article 39.1, “team orders which interfere with a race result are prohibited” and this is the very act that has been alleged as Ferrari left Germany with a $100,000 fine for doing so.

So what do you think? We’ve discussed this before on another thread but the penalties could range from a slap on the hand to a ban from the sport or anywhere in between. Many have suggested taking the constructor’s points they gained in Germany away but leaving the drivers points in tact. Is this a good idea?
