FIA To Tweak Qualifying For Bahrain

2

In an Autosport story the FIA is set to impose the 120% rule used in the Reconnaissance lap scenario to prevent future issues that arose at Sepang.

This would mandate that teams hustle back to the pits and not loiter on track to conserve fuel. See? Max is generous; I would have made it 107% just to spice up the action and tactics.

OOOOps, but Mr Ecclestone and Max are thinking how to sell the difference (120 – 107%) as “the greener sport ever seen”, the Earth can be saved from global warming thanks to Formula 1 Management TM. God save them

Ok, here’s the plan. FIA starts a carbon credit company and sells team enough carbon credits to make up difference between 107% and 120%
