This F2 turned F1 driver entered the sport in a declining marque but never the less scored almost 150 championship points. He eventually won a Grand Prix at the same place he held a lap record ( he held 3 at the time). He died in a practice incident preparing for a Grand Prix for a new team, although a familiar Marque, who was attempting a return to he sport.
