Force India Test Ralf And Fisi

7

Ralf Schumacher Fisi

The debate continues on the best teammate for Adrian Sutil at Force India. Many have thrown Ralf out as a bad choice in favor of Fisi but is that really founded or is it just the Anti-Schumacher sentiment rearing its head? Apparently they will test 6-7 drivers soon and pick from them.

For me it comes down to the test driver role. If they have an experienced tester for car development, then they can have two young guns. If they have a young gun as a tester, they need Ralf or Fisi in the second seat to add some stability and car development skills. Chicks dig guys with car development skills, numchuck(SIC) skills, computer hacking skills.

All you anti-Ralf and Schumacher fans rejoice, Ralf may just be without a drive next year; won’t that be terrific?

I’m going to hire who ever I feel like hiring, GOSH! Here’s the deal: Ralf has a reputation of being difficult to deal with and he sucks (unlike Alonso who’s difficult to deal with and brilliant.) Now whether or not this is true isn’t the point. Reputation is everything and you are only as good as your last race. So based on that Fisi is the better option. He’s easy going and is a solid midfield finisher. If Fifi sees their future in Sutil and is just looking for a number two then what they need is someone who will… Read more »

Less grumpy and smiles more. There you go. All Fisi needs is competition in a young team mate like what Ferd provided to push him to step up. The way I see it, Force India for veterans is like a transition phase to retirement, like the earlier post that says it’s where drivers go to die. But I doubt any of those two will do any good to Spyker than they are now. I just don’t see it. If they join, it’d be the same anyways, maybe a mid field performance once or twice but mostly at the back…

It was often said back in the late 90’s that Fisi was the best “other” driver besides Mika and Schum but I can’t say that I ever saw that. I do remember some very brilliant performances from Ralf but like Grace said, if he can get his head in the game.

I hear Jos the Boss might be looking for a job and why not India. ;)

right now, force india is the place for unsigned drivers to run to for a test, but who knows, they may be the team to revive a few careers if they manage to become a points scoring team in the midfield. maybe some extra shelf life for ralph or fisi.

just for fun, check out itv’s poll. not sure how long it will stay up. they ask readers,
“Which driver deserves to stay in Formula 1 more?”

74% say fisi, and 26% say ralphie.

I think Fisi should be kicked out of F1 for those sunglasses, what is up with that nose piece?
