For fashion, I have to hand it to Lewis because he circulates in some tight social circles and having supermodel Barbara Palvin as the present girlfriend doesn’t hurt either. The top photo is obviously a Gucci jacket but I bet the bottom photo is something from Louis Vuitton, hence the incorrect spelling of his name. Anyway, one could contrast NBCSN’s regular coverage of F1 to its past weekend’s telecast of Indy at Road America. Like Jeff Gordon on Fox, they got Paul Tracy sandwiched between 2 typically annoying announcers(though this weekend Leigh Diffey was filling in) and PT was absolutely… Read more »

Grace, test cricket makes baseball look fast.

A test match is over five days, and can still end in a draw…

Wiki says the longest ever was 150 hours and 14 minutes (roughly equal to 6 days, 6 hours and 14 minutes), as recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records (happened June 24-30, 2012, officially certified in 2014).

As the one who Negative Camber is talking about when he says “People…. complained about lewis hamilton fashion”, Hammy 100% deserved it this week. He looks like one of Obyrn Martell’s gay lovers in game of thrones.

Not looking forward to weeks of mostly no Grace. Shows with the other guy (who i just tried to remember his name) just arent even close to as satisfying. Just a byproduct of years and years of listening to her, long into and past the “Honda Kettle, Shake shake shake fire rubens” days :)

Honestly, if I had to pay every time I said “F1”, I’d be out in a heartbeat. 6. How, exactly, are they going to measure “safety”? 7. Back in the 70s, they did explain the “nickel”, but now everyone and their dog knows what it is. 8. I’m going ROS, VET, RIC, first out is… Read more »

I think you were misunderstanding Toto’s comment on Baku. My impression was him saying he liked the track. The drivers were concerned for their safety because of the lack of run off but he was happy that it wasn’t ‘a supermarket car park’ like some of the newer tracks where they have oodles and oodles of space. Interesting note, parts of Albert park in Australia is actually on a car park
