Jeez you guys were the last bastion of consistency in F1 and suddenly everything goes all cattywampus for the sake of more entertainment.

I know, random grid is an oddity and perhaps next week we’ll get way out of the track limits with Grace. :)

Liked the reversed grid format the best, save the best til last :)
Poor Daniil, even though I’m routing for Mclaren to overtake TR I truly hope he comes around after the summer break and starts kicking ass and taking names.

About the false starts and the absence of so many, I believe it is because the FIA implemented a rule that anything under 0.10 reaction time is deemed physically impossible. Besting that duration would mean the driver didn’t respond, rather anticipated the lights going out. I’ll try to find the regulation though.

I’m glad to hear Bernie’s mother-in-law is ok. She is almost two decades younger than him.

Not many people know this story, but when Mr. E was around 18 he saw a newborn child. He looked at her and thought to himself, “That’s my future wife. Just kidding, I’ll wait and marry HER daughter.”

I came across your podcast in time for the Hungarian Grand Prix and I loved it. I really enjoyed the analysis of the whole grid and not just Lewis Hamilton *caugh* BBC podcast *caugh*

Thanks, and I’m looking forward to the next one.
