    You may have seen the article posted by Todd regarding Brad Keselowski’s suggestion that we go with hybrids ala Formula 1. However, given all that we do, this begs the question: Do we really need hybrids?

    I would be against the idea for three reasons:

    1. We have engines that go up to 750 bhp. Do we really need more power? I don’t think so.
    2. We’re already just above 200 MPH on the longer tracks. Many drivers say we’re going too fast. I don’t think we need the extra speed.

    3. I don’t think even the top teams can afford this.

    What say ye?
