Lewis Hamilton, who had refrained from publicly commenting on the FIA winner-take-all scoring system ruling, has finally joined a chorus of drivers and fans denouncing the change. Unfortunately about an hour or two after he did it, FOTA slammed the FIA with its own regulations to get the ruling thrown out for 2009. Did Matt Bishop not know that FOTA was offering this strategy? Wonder why they would let Lewis engage the issue if they thought it was going to be challenged on very sound grounds. Hmmm.
