Hamilton Would Like Alonso To Move On!

This is the kind of stuff that I think betrays Lewis’s better sense. If there were any doubt as to whether Alonso was right or wrong in his assertion that McLaren were indeed favoring Lewis, this just adds to it.

I am all for Lewis and his terrific season/career but this type of stuff is really nonsensical and actually makes me think Fernando is probably correct in his assessment of the team. It almost excuses his alleged blackmail of Ron with the emails concerning the Ferrari data possessed by Mike Coughlan. Lewis may still be the darling of the UK but I am finding it more difficult each week to like this young man when he continues making comments such as these.

Perhaps Fernando will consider an equal status at Ferrari with Kimi just to see he and the Finn hand McLaren their backsides next year. The espionage, odd Stage-Mom performances by Anthony Hamilton, Ron’s lukewarm support of Fernando are all adding up to a very big negative for me with McLaren. It is a shame really as I am sure the other 800 employees are not like this. Come on Mario, let’s get Nick and Robert up there next year so F1 fans can have a team unblemished by egos, politics, espionage and historical maxims to cheer for.

If Anthony Hamilton want to help his sons career he needs to buy him a roll of duct tape to put over his mouth. The mail thing I don’t like about Lewis recently are his comments about Alonso.

He want him to leave the team. Alonso doesn’t care about the team. Mclaren wants me to win(true, but it could have remained unsaid).

Agreed. This is the type of thing, while not unheard of in F1, that Lewis should refrain from if he values any PR with the fan base.

This comment would explain the sleazy feeling I get when I hear Lewis speak. Reminds me of one of those hyper polished salespeople.

I agree. If he is to be the F1 version of Tiger Woods, he needs to tone the rhetoric down and reign in the ego. One season, win or lose, does not make a career.

But this is exactly what his fan base wants. The Brits eat this crap up. Sure you guys find it annoying but I think you’re in the minority.
