IndyCar testing to resume at Sebring on Friday

For the first time since December, IndyCar teams will hit the track again at Sebring International Raceway.

Tony Kanaan will make his first official appearance in the #10 Target car, as the last time he tested for Ganassi, the teams new plan had not been announced.

Joining Kanaan are his 3 Chip Ganassi Racing teammates Ryan Briscoe, Scott Dixon and Charlie Kimball.

KV Racing will also be testing with their 2014 prospect: Sebastien Bourdais. The team has yet to announce the driver of their second car, if any. The team’s 2013 second driver Simona de Silvestro has been quiet regarding a ride for the 2014 season during the winter.

Ed Carpenter Racing will also feature 2014 road course driver Mike Conway making laps in the #20 Fuzzy’s Vodka Chevrolet powered entry

Team Penske will unload all three cars for Helio Castroneves, Juan Montoya and Will Power.

Panther Racing will test a potential candidate for their 2014 program: Formula Renault 3.5 series standout Carlos Huertas. Huertas has spent the last two seasons in the Formula Renault 3.5 series and has captured one win and 3 podiums. The team has not yet announced a sponsor, but hopes to do so in the coming weeks
