We have a mini dip in the Formula 1 news world right now.
No new Kimi Raikkonen rumors. Nick Heidfeld just needs to get the booster seat for Pedro de la Rosa’s car. That poor HRT engineer is still in the hospital.
Fernando Alonso may have a piece up over at Ferrari, but since it apparently just says, “We can win,” well, that isn’t news. That’s what 73% of Ferrari posts say. (Another 11% explain why they are doing poorly. Six percent are aimed at the FIA. Five percent are about Ferrari World. Three percent are about new Ferrari cars. And 2 percent are taking shots at McLaren.)
The news is so slow… (how slow is it?) that the BBC’s rumors page actually links to the Weather Channel. I kid you not. And, you might not be surprised to know, every day for the next 10 days has scattered thunderstorms predicted.
And thus, according to the BBC: “The weather could be a major factor in the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix. Forecasters are predicting scattered thunderstorms throughout the race weekend.”
Well, I reckon it could.
Good news: Only going to be in the mid- to upper 80s in Singapore.
