Kimi Raikkonen has placed 13th so far in his maiden Rally effort in the Arctic Lapland Rally. Rally veteran Marcus Gronholm said of his fellow Fin:
“It’s hard to say about Raikkonen yet,” the 40-year-old Finn told the News of the World. “He might be a hell of a driver, but I don’t think he can learn to drive (rallies) right off the bat.”
Now understand that this is the view of a mutli-time champ but in my book, stepping into a rally car and placing 13th so far is really good. Maybe not Marcus-good but good none the less.
