Mr. Costa feels that just knowing Ferrari’s information is grounds for an unfair advantage. IF this is the case, which is probably true, then what does that say about Renault’s possession of information but not using it per se? Our man John has been rattling sabers on this very issue for some time and it has seemed to grow in light of McLaren’s apology letter.
Makes one wonder if the type of data Renault had was as mundane as some suggest.
