Leclerc puts Ferrari on pole for USGP

The Formula 1 US Grand Prix got off to a hot and sticky start with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc on pole leading McLaren’s Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes. Max Verstappen is mired down in 6th.

Max’s final attempt at pole was deleted as he ran wide at turn 19 leaving the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc on pole and his teammate, Carlos Sainz starting 4th on Sunday.

Alpine also had a good qualifying session with Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon in 7th and 8th respectively while Aston Martin struggled failing to get either of their cars out of Q1.
