Loss Of TC: DC Says Bad, Max Says No Big Deal

DC has opened talks with Charlie Whiting regarding the loss of Traction Control and the safety of F1 during wet races. According to DC and others, driving in the rain without TC will be a lot more dangerous. They cite the Fuji race in 2007 as an example of a race that could not have been run without TC.

Max on the other hand is using the law of physics to show that wet races reduce speed and the possibility of someone getting hurt at reduced speeds is tremendously lower. It is a push and not as big of a deal as the driver’s are making it out to be.
