Does anyone have anything for Marc Marquez? The Rookie of all rookies scored his 4th consecutive win in Brno beating teammate Dani Pedrosa and Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo. He’s the first rookie in MotoGP history to claim five wins in his rookie season.

Rumors of rain circled Brno but the race remained dry with Lorenzo leading much of the action until the waning laps when Marquez put the final pass on the reigning world champion with four laps to go. The series heads to Silverstone for the British Grand Prix this weekend.

I went to watch him race at Laguna Seca. I won’t be surprised if he goes on to win the championship, he is that good. Just watch him, he seems relaxed, enjoying the racing, very intelligent on the track – he obviously puts in a huge amount of effort studying the other riders and the tracks. He also comes across as very professional and likeable. Definitely a contender.
