Martin Whitmarsh has taken the helm of the McLaren F1 efforts and this week suggested that this is not the first time he has been offered the role. Having been offered the team principle role in other teams, Martin is quick to point out that he wouldn’t have felt comfortable there and that McLaren is the best team in motorsport…Arguably Martin.
He also said that he and ron agree on many aspects but they do differ on subjects as well. He plainly said that he is not an “identikit” of Ron Dennis. I knew that Martin, that’s why i have been calling for your promotion for a long time now. ;)
