In more good recovery news, Felipe Massa has been released from a Brazilian hospital following more tests and scans to asses the need for further surgery.
“We did new blood exams, repeated brain tomography, brain resonance, he’s undergone a ophthalmic exam, and the conclusion is that Felipe has no need of a new surgery right now,” physician Dino Altman told reporters. “The only recommendation for him is for rest at home.”
This is indeed good news and given how quickly Massa has progressed so far, hopefully his rest time at home will gain similar results. Good news indeed as we all could be posting eulogies if it were not for F1’s safety and the brilliant work of some very talented medical personnel.
