Max Verstappen has had just about enough of Nico Rosberg’s loose commentary in the Formula 1 paddock. Rosberg, who now operates as a pundit for various broadcast outlets and his own media and social media outlets has run afoul of the Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen after suggesting he was too aggressive with his move at the Belgian Grand Prix and that he was going back to “his old ways”.
The contrarian and controversial comments from former driver-turned-pundit used to be rare territory reserved for Jacques Villeneuve (JV) but now Max feels that, while JV has tempered his comments, Rosberg has picked up the mantle.
“I think he is the new Jacques Villeneuve.
“Villeneuve has changed quite a bit, but it seems that Rosberg now and again wants to give a contrary opinion.
“But I really don’t care what he says on his channels anyway.
“He does it very often. At the beginning of this year he even called me a narcissist. That is very extreme.”
“He has got no charisma and he doesn’t get to work anywhere,” added Verstappen. “But hey, that’s also his problem.
“Maybe he also wants to make money with his YouTube channel.
“But then he could have been better off driving, because then he could have earned much more money.”
Nico has had several moments of biting comments for many drivers on the grid from Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton and others. He’s not been short of pointed opinions and they’ve teetered on being harsh in tone and scope.
I think many fans have heard his comments and recoiled slightly or a lot and perhaps Max is the first person to point out what many are feeling.

I’m with Max on this one. I don’t like LH but Nico never hides his contempt and speaks it openly
This is why I don’t like Max. He can’t admit fault and looks to divert attention to the ones who point it out. He is a narcissist.
