While Racing Point has driven its 2020 car and Mercedes has taken its 2018 car out for a spina and even Ferrari drove their 2020 car from the factory to the test track, McLaren have opted for a bit of a change up.
You see, McLaren have left the 2020 and 2018 car at home and instead fielded a F car for Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris to drive at Silverstone.

It seems McLaren doesn’t have an older spec car in working order so they teamed up with Carlin Racing to run a few laps in their F3 cars.
