As reported by F1B, Frank Stephenson was retained as the designer for McLaren and while we suspected that Ron might take a reduced role in the F1 side of things to focus on their road car division with the acquisition of Stephenson, it appears at least one of our hunches has come true. Frank is designing three new cars for McLaren; including a $90K version. The story is here.
Good for McLaren. Ferrari have been doing this for years and years and perhaps McLaren can forge a name in the super-car business with the brilliant mind of Stephenson and accumen of Ron Dennis.
