Mercedes motorsport boss, the husky Norbert Haug, has made a statement to a Cologne Newspaper that was picked up by GMM. In the article, it is suggested that he said the following:
“This situation is absolutely not positive for Mercedes.
“I report directly to Daimler chairman Dr Dieter Zetsche. If the situation should become intolerable, we will get together in Stuttgart and make a decision.”

Now color me reactionary but I can’t recall words quite this harsh toward McLaren in the past from its partner. This doesn’t bode well if it’s true. One might suggest that Norbert instantly has options now as Mercedes is supplying another British team who seems to be very successful right now.
