After a few days testing at the scene of the exploding tire crime, it seems that Pirelli’s new tire construction (as in last year’s construction with this years compounds) has been a success. There have been no explosions and apparently even the drivers feel safe on the new tires.
As AUTOSPORT reported, Felipe Massa and Pastor Maldonado both feel completely at ease with the new tires so we can look forward from the incident and have confidence in Pirelli’s new tires for the Hungarian Grand Prix forward.
That’s good news but what we can’t know, with any certainty, is who will suffer with the new tires and who will succeed. After watching the Young Driver test (with veteran drivers as well) do you see a theme emerging? Do you have any bets on who will suffer in performance with the new tire?
