According to Red Bull driver Mark Webber’s Twitter account, technical director Adrian Newey is doing well. In fact, he seems in good spirits and joked about the Flexi wing controversy:
Yep spoke to adrain last night,he’s in good spirits,also said he didn’t have a FLEXI bed in hospital,he’s working on it!! 3:37 AM Aug 9th via mobile web
According to the Italian website 422.com, Newey was released from hospital with a bruised arm and will use the F1 holiday for rest.
Good to hear the world renown designer is doing well following a shunt at Snetterton during the Ginetta 50 event this weekend. Get well soon Adrian…oh, your boss in in Croatia with Bernie Ecclestone…just thought you’d like to know. Think they’re talking about Flexi sings?
