Pedrosa resurrects Honda’s year

PedrosaDani Pedrosa has resurrected Honda’s disappointing year with a win at the U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca. His first win in over a year. The Spaniard, who has had a very challenging year physically and mentally, had a terrific start and looked to have the race in hand with as much as 3 seconds gap between himself and World Champion Valentino Rossi. A last lap attempt by Rossi was not enough to deter Pedrosa from taking the checkered flag and victory.

Notable rides of the race had to be Jorge Lorenzo who suffered a dislocated collar bone during a qualifying crash but rode through the pain to finish an amazing 3rd. A 5th place finish for struggling Nicky Hayden was the best performance all year for the American and could be the emotional boost he needs to come to terms with his Ducati.
