After 20 years, P2 Class Porsche wins the overall classification at Sebring 12-hour race.
Roger Penske together with Porsche has claimed victory in the P2 class of the American Le Mans Series(ALMS) 12-hour of Sebring Race. The grueling race is the culmination of a steadily progressing Team Penske Porsche since last year. The victory starts the season off in what could be the most competitive in years.
Audi’s #1 car piloted by Tom Kristensen suffered from brake problems which saw the team change rotors and pads during the race. The timely pit stop cost Audi the win but it must be said that the lines between P1 and P2 classifications is becoming very hard to recognize. That can ony mean good competitive racing this year in ALMS.
