So maybe there is something else going on here with S. Speed…. Even his sponsor whom seemed quite pleased(?) with him can’t get him a drive on their own NASCAR team….

Yes, the closed paddocks are CRAP… And now Motogp is closing theirs too… Of course Indy is charging basic tickets at $100 a pop….. I guess Tony needs money for his IRL team..

First off all I would like to give Ralf Schumacher some credit. I just saw a couple days back the 2001 Monza GP and Ralf was great, even beat his brother. I can understand that in a company driven by committee like Toyota F1 it can get very frustrating and one starts to play along and cash in and not care about the outcome anymore. Been there, done that. As far as the Toyota’s setup is concerned, it still baffles me that team bosses haven’t figured out yet that most drivers have a preference when it comes to the handling… Read more »

Speed: My guess is no one on the F1 side checked with the NASCAR side before stating that Speed would be in NASCAR.

Ralf: Can run amazingly well sometimes but most of the time, not so much.

Tires: Yes they are boring. Good thing we devoted half a podcast to them.

What’s this wee stuff? :)

I have seen Ralf do some pretty amazing stuff but I think Grace and Zash are correct; car by committee is no way to motivate a driver be it Ralf, Jarno Jenson or Rubens.
