Great podcast guys. But what happened to the predictions of the MonaKKooo grand prix?

Good point. We somehow left those out.

Lewis, Massa, Kovy, Kubica, Kimi, Heidfeld

First out: Le Seb

Great podcast this week . I have to disagree with your picks though I think it’s Kimi, Massa, Keikki, Kubi Hamilton. First one out will be Vettel because DC will crash him (since he did take last race off from crashing into people)

Good point. I’m not really sure how we missed the predictions especially when you see what mine are:

Heidfeld, Hamilton, Alonso
First out: Trulli

gotta tell you Grace, Alonso pick may just prove to be darn good.

I think Le Seb will have an outstanding race. But my picks will be Kimi, Lewis Kubica.

First out Kazu…or is that a given?

Great podcast, as always….

After watching MotoGP qualifying and FP2, I’m starting to think Grace may be right. Lorenzo is starting to be a danger not just to himself, but to others as well. His concentration is starting to lapse, causing him to make mistakes. I’m writing this in the middle of the 125 race, which has just been suspended because of the rain, and if it’s still raining at 2pm (when the MotoGP race starts), I’ll be hoping Lorenzo decides that discretion is the better part of valor.

at some point, if he seems disjointed, you’d think the team would step in and bench him.

Sounds .like Max throwing his toys out of the pram…. Max sees the end of the road, and is fighting to keep control but in doing this he looks like a fool….. Which he is! Bernie isn’t going to lose his control of Formula 1, but I’ve been saying that Bernie has been quadruple dipping on the F1 & FIA dime. Which I’ve been saying for years, of course this was pre-Formula1 blog…. The whol;e lot need to be tossed out on the ear and a large investigation needs to look at both these yahoos and how they did business… Read more »

Ahh the Monty Python “Blackmail” Sketch. Classic.

you know David, I saw that Maverick did pretty in the MotoGP race and thought “fine, I give in. You were all right and he’s fine to race.” And then I log in here to see you agreeing with me… I just can’t win sometimes ;) As for the brilliant Danica comment… Bernie has the uncanny ability to present well thought out comments like they just popped into his head. Remember nothing he says is off the cuff. That said, the appliance comment is brilliant because it negates any comments later that he got a chic in F1 just of… Read more »

Spare a talon for an old sex-stepper? How about half a denari then? Or another 18 months in employment?
He gave us one hell of a “life-story” after all… We owe him something!

Marvellous show guys. I vote Super Ant for Renault – though “huuuneoooor” probably deserves a shot at Canada before he’s thrown overboard… Heikki was pretty poor (OK, not to nearly the same extent, but still) early last year too.

Predictions: Lewis, Raikonnen Alonso
First out: Massa – we’re due an accident at the front in turn one, where better than Monaco?

I was amused to read this in the “A Hack Looks Back” column on grandprix.com by Mike Doodson this morning:

“Still, you can console yourself with the knowledge that by the time you go home you’ll know how to pronounce the name of the place. It’s ‘MONNako,’ not ‘Mon-AHko,’ don’t you know?”

LOL. I can say that we yanks may have curb wrong but we are correct on Monaco. Not sure where the Brit’s got Ma-nah-co. :) About like Aluminum. :)

Predictions: RD1 is closest. (Of course). It will be Alonzo, Heidfeld, Hamilton. SeBass will pick up more points. DC will be involved in a touch with a backmarker within 10 laps. Super Crash brothers will be out by end of lap 1, but the FIRST OUT award will go to Max.

Webbo will suffer engine failure on last lap and push his RBR across the finish. :)

Don’t the brits actually spell aluminum like they pronouce it, with an extra ‘i’ at the end? “aluminium”

LOL. Funny, I found this at Wiki ( not that you can trust its content) and found it amusing. the Brit’s didn’t like the way it sounded. they wanted it a tad for “classical”. got to love the Brit’s. :) By 1812, Davy had settled on aluminum, which, as other sources note,[citation needed] matches its Latin root. He wrote in the journal Chemical Philosophy: “As yet Aluminum has not been obtained in a perfectly free state.”[26] But the same year, an anonymous contributor to the Quarterly Review, a British political-literary journal, objected to aluminum and proposed the name aluminium, “for… Read more »
