The German newspaper Bild has said that Kimi is close to signing a new contract that would see the world champion continue his services. Amid myriad rumors of his retirement and a new 2010 contract for Fernando Alonso, this news is contrary to all that has been printed over the last few weeks of silly season. If this is true, then the Fernando deal could be defunct as Massa has another two and a half years on his current contract with Ferrari and Kimi Raikkonen would be seated until 2011 leaving no room for The two-time Spanish Champion.
