Well, Vettel has already won the Driver’s Championship, Red Bull have claimed the Constructor’s Championship and now it seems that Kimi Raikkonen will miss the final two races of the season. Might as well turn the television off and start watching some other sport because there’s little reason to watch Formula 1 now.

Lotus F1 Team can confirm that Kimi Räikkönen will miss the final two races of the 2013 Formula 1 season to undergo, and recover from, back surgery.
The team will make an announcement about the replacement driver for the United States and Brazilian Grands Prix in due course.
Raikkonen had aggravated a lingering back issue during the Singapore Grand Prix weekend and while he has raced since, one can’t ignore the strained relationship he’s had with the team over pay. It is believed that the team owe Raikkonen something in the neighborhood of 17 million Euros. That will give anyone back problems.
