Ralf Schumacher completed additional testing this week in a 2007 spec Mecedes DTM car.
Autosport suggests he is closing in on a deal that would see the 32-year old German race for Mercedes in the coveted DTM series. The series plays host for many former F1 drivers and would be a good jump for Ralf. Ralf is slated to drive a 2007 spec car for the first year to learn at the car, tracks and series before handing him the keys to the new cars. Seems like the theory fathers use with their teenagers when buying them a car. Don’t let Junior drive the BMW, buy him an old corolla for the first couple years.
