Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel claims pole position for this weekends British Grand Prix. The young German took the top step over Brawn GP rival Ruben Barrichello and Red Bull teammate Mark Webber. Missing from the first two rows of the starting grid is race favorite Jenson Button who managed sixth in a bit of surprise moment. No one was probably more surprised than Mark Webber who was visibly upset with Kimi Raikkonen and launched in to a post qualifying press conference rant about Kimi drinking vodka or dreaming as he ruined Mark’s qualifying lap by going slow on the main line of the racing surface.
Red Bull have brought a lot of new aero parts and made some significant changes to the car this weekend and it appears it has propelled them in the right direction. Ruben Barrichello, who has always found Silverstone a friendly track, will split the Red Bulls for what should be an exciting race for the rabid British fans lamenting the loss of Silverstone from the F1 calenda after 2009.
