Nico Rosberg feels the new Williams car may give the team a shot to challenge for wins. This would be a drastic improvement for the team over last years dismal performance. I, for one, would be elated if this were true. I also think it is interesting that Nico says the “potential”, if you will, for further development and exploitation is large.
I have been wondering about teams like Red Bull and Williams who looked strong at the beginning of testing but have waned a little through the off season. I am considering the fact that they may be dialing the car in to explore the limits of just what they have on their hands. If the cars are truly more “equal” then Nico may very well find himself battling with Kubica for a podium finish or better. If Red Bull and Williams can really find some pace starting in Spain, this could be a very interesting year.
