On the fastest lap point: This is one thing that I wish F1 would promptly do away with. For most of the year, the Fastest Lap is nothing more than a bragging point,. And having started watching prior to this point’s introduction, I can tell you that drivers DO NOT need motivation to try and be the fastest on track.
